Brenda Pearson, CRNP-PMH

Ms. Pearson has over 30 years of combined experience in the medical field as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurse, Residential Psychiatric Counselor, and ER Nurse. She served 14 years as a Veterans Administration Registered Nurse caring for Veterans suffering from Mental and Physical Illnesses. She also possesses experience caring for civilian patients with mental and physical illnesses. Her goal is to empower her patients to manage their mental health, allowing them to function in their maximum capacity.

Ashley Palmer, LCPC

Ashley Palmer, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor

Ashley is a Baltimore City native. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Towson University.

Ashley utilizes a liberation-focused framework when working with clients, while taking an eclectic approach to therapy. She values increasing client autonomy, insight, and awareness, within the systems in which they live and operate.

Her eclectic approach is evident in her previous work experiences. She has worked as an advocate and change agent for diversity, equity, and inclusion in higher education. She has provided mental health interventions to those experiencing and perpetuating intimate partner violence and in school based services. She has also worked as a natural hair stylist and educator.

Her specialties include: General Anxiety, Social Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Major life transitions, Interpersonal relationship challenges, Intimate partner violence, Racial identity development, Minority stress, Cultural trauma, and Women’s issues.
